Help AIM Magazine Fulfill Its Pledge

To purge racism from the human bloodstream by way of the written word...that was our primary purpose in publishing AIM. Optimistic, we pledged then, to use our profit to fund scholarships for underprivileged youngers, helping them to obtain educations. Unfortunately, we have made just enough to keep us going. Our effort to establish a scholarship fund has not materialized.

Fortunately, a scholarship fund has been established at the University of Washington is Seattle named: The Dr. Myron Apilado Scholarship Fund. Vice President Apilado recently retired from the university. Through his efforts as Head of Minority Affairs, thousands of underrepresented minorities and educational/disadvantaged young men and women have received educational assistance realizing their ambitions.

So that other underprivileged youngsters can join this educationally liberated group, AIM urges its readers to contribute to the Dr. Myron Apilado Scholarship Fund. Location: Office of Development, University of Washington, Apilado Scholarship Fund, 407 Gerberding Hall, Box 351210, Seattle, WA 998195. Contributions are tax deductible.
