How
to submit stories for publication in AIM…
America’s Intercultural
Magazine
AIM
seeks compelling, well-written works of fiction, non-fiction
and
poetry that are relevant to the publication's mission. Additionally,
AIM encourages original works of photography and art. Fiction
and
non-fiction should be no more than 4,000 words in length.
Poetry will be limited to 100 lines and no more than five
poems in a submission. Please limit photos and artwork to
no more than 5 items per submission. AIM does not accept simultaneous
submissions or previously published work. All editorial decisions
are based on the content and quality of the work submitted.
AIM reports within 3 to 4 months.
All
written work must be submitted electronically as text in either
.txt, .rtf, or .doc formats. Photos and artwork must be submitted
in .jpg, .tif, or .bmp format at 300 dpi. Submissions should
be sent to
submissions@aimmagazine.org. Articles, photos, and artwork
submitted as hard copy, scanned text, or in any graphical
format will not be considered for publication. Please provide
an introduction to yourself and your work in a concise statement
of intent to submit for publication that includes your name
and contact information. AIM is published quarterly by the
AIM Publication Association.
